Born in San Jose and raised in the East Bay, Coach Myles Wise, owner of Wiseway Academy, brings a wealth of basketball knowledge and expertise. Coming from a basketball family that includes San Francisco native and legend Willie Wise and overseas star Brandon Ashley, Coach Myles has been competing at a high level since the age of five. He earned a starting spot as a varsity guard during his sophomore year and continued in that role throughout high school.
After graduating from Liberty High School in 2015, he played college basketball at Antelope Valley College in Lancaster, California, before transferring to Cal State East Bay, where he earned a B.S. in Kinesiology in 2023. Just six months later, he applied his skills and founded Wiseway Academy, a basketball training and strength & conditioning program based in Stockton and Brentwood.
Coach Myles was recently selected as an ABA All-Star for the 2024-2025 season with the Delta Stars. Through the game of basketball, he emphasizes the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of the sport, helping his players develop into sharper, more mature athletes and well-rounded young adults.
