Grades 3 – 10 are invited to our Fall tryouts. Come join us for youth basketball tryouts in August 2026.
The Underdogs Hardwood League is an in-house league run by the Underdogs Basketball staff. Players are placed on 4–6 teams per division and play one game per week, culminating in playoffs at the end of the season. There are no practices.
We prioritize the individual and team development of each player and team. Focusing on their physical, mental, and emotional growth as athletes and as individuals.
Underdogs Basketball is open to all young athletes regardless of their skill level, background, or demographic. We strive to create a diverse and inclusive basketball community where every player feels like an important piece of the team.
We emphasize the importance of respect, integrity, and good sportsmanship. Our athletes learn not only how to win with grace but also how to handle setbacks and losses with dignity.
Underdogs instill a strong work ethic and commitment to improvement, teaching our athletes that success in basketball and life is the result of perseverance and handling adversity.
We emphasize the value of teamwork, teaching athletes to work together, communicate effectively, and support each other both on and off the court.
Beyond basketball, our program aims to equip athletes with valuable life skills, such as time management, goal setting, and leadership, which will serve them well in their futures not just on the court but off the court.
We believe that success in basketball should be accompanied by personal growth and the development of strong character traits, including humility, resilience, and empathy.
