Coach Orr is a San Francisco Bay Area native with a strong background in youth sports and achieved significant success as a player in his youth, leading his teams to several middle school championships with the San Francisco JCC Club team and his school, Brandeis Hillel Day School. Additionally, he played on the varsity basketball team at Terra Nova High School in Pacifica.
After graduating from high school, Orr earned a bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University and a master’s degree in political science from Ben-Gurion University. With over a decade of coaching experience spanning from 3rd grade through junior varsity across the San Francisco Bay Area, Orr has helped those teams win several tournaments and championships for a variety of club and school teams. His coaching approach emphasizes inspiration and engagement, encouraging young athletes to strive for their best while enjoying the game. Orr creates an environment where players can learn, thrive, and fully embrace the joy of basketball.
