Last week, Underdogs Basketball had the privilege of partnering with renowned coach Mike Allen to host a week-long basketball camp focused on one essential skill—shooting. Each day presented a new challenge designed to push players out of their comfort zones and help them develop game-ready scoring techniques.
Coach Allen delivered high-energy sessions that went beyond basic shooting. Players worked on off-the-dribble shooting, fatigue shooting, and other dynamic, game-scenario drills, ensuring every rep had real-game application.
A standout feature of the camp was the use of state-of-the-art shot-tracking technology, which allowed players to monitor both their makes and misses in real time. This data-driven approach provided valuable feedback, helping players visualize their improvement and hold themselves accountable each day. The technology gave participants a high-level training experience—one that even many college programs have yet to implement.
The camp welcomed both Underdogs athletes and non-members, and every player in attendance showed tremendous appreciation and commitment throughout the week. Their participation is a reflection of their dedication to improving their skills for the upcoming season.
Underdogs Basketball extends a big thank you to Coach Mike Allen for partnering with us on this incredible experience. We look forward to many more collaborations in the future!
